Rapide Engineering undertake a wide variety of jobs on both vintage motorcycles and cars. We have worked on a number of Vintage motorcycles such as Vincent, Velocette, Scott, Rudge, Norton, Ariel, Triumph, James, Jawa and BSA., to name but a few.
We have recently completed machining work on a Veteran 1911 Scat car crank, an Alvis and an Austin 7 Special. We also make custom parts for customers such as the Morgan 3-wheeler luggage rack pictured below.

Vincent cylinder heads
Vincent Twin cylinder heads had valve seat repairs
Jawa Exhaust Port repair
Stripped exhaust port thread was machined out and repaired by replacing it with a new insert
Velocette MAC Rocker Bearing Housing
We custom designed and made this as the existing housing was damaged.
Austin 7 Engine after bead blasting
Bead blasting gives a clean semi-gloss finish – like new, you can even see the serial number now!
